High School ProgramMost of Sauveterre's student body enters our education program in their high school years, as this is the age where many individuals realize that they are empowered. The class sizes in our high school program are the largest of any of our educational programs, but they are still small enough that each student will recieve quality individual attention should they require it and for each student to get to know their teachers personally. High school students will also be assigned to a mentor based on their own abilities and temperment in order to further their learning. They will balance their academic lessons with their mentorship sessions, being educated in traditional academic studies as well as in their own individual powers and talents. Students will also be given a basic mental evaluation during their first few mentorship sessions in order to determine whether a therapist will be assigned to them as well. After spending a year with their assigned mentor, high school students will be allowed to apply for a change in mentor should they believe they would learn better from another mentor. High school students are the youngest age group to be allowed to live in the Academy's dormitories, where many of them stay until reaching college age and moving up to upperclassman housing. The majority of our high school age students live on-campus, although live with their families locally or have been granted special permission to reside with college or post-graduate students. |
