About Sauveterre

Founded in 1832 by Dr. Roland Sauveterre, Sauveterre Academy was originally created as a place for people with unusual abilities to learn to control their powers safely while remaining out of the critical eye of the public.Though the original facility was built out of an old asylum, Sauveterre Academy's facilities have grown to include several buildings, acomodating both academic and therapeutic facilities for all ages of individuals. Sauveterre Academy prides itself in hiring the most qualified staff to ensure the academic excellence, mentorship success, therapeutic care, and physical and mental safety of its community, staff and students alike.

The small city of Sauveterre, in which Sauveterre Academy resides, was built around the school, originally to acomodate staff and students. It has now grown into a thriving city all its own, and while most of its residents are affiliated with the Academy in some way, there are plenty of residents who choose to live there due to its pro-equality environment or simply due to the pleasant surroundings and atmosphere.
