I am a college senior studying Psychology and Biology at St. Mary's College of Maryland. My studies of animal and human behavior strongly influence my writing. I also love incorporating old fairy tales and legends into my work. This site serves as a way to both advertise my work and understand the roots and inspirations I draw from when creating that work.
Every year I write a novel for National Novel Writing Month, which takes place in November. The goal of NaNoWriMo is to write a 50,000 word novel in oly 30 days. I have participated for seven years and won six of them. I highly reccommend NaNoWrimo to any aspiring novelist- it is both a way to force yourself to write and finish a novel as well as a great way to practice writing. I strongly believe that writing, like everything else, improves only after a great deal of experience. If you want to become a better writer, all you need to do is start writing.
In the future I hope to publish some of my work. I hope to find a capable editor or beta reader to help me look over my work to improve it before I submit it. If you are interested, please contact me.
I hope my work touches you or intrigues you in some small way. The stories I write are always in earnest, about characters and worlds that want to tell their tales. If you listen, you may walk away with a new perspective.
