Day 2:

To create my sculpture, I made the crayon tower starting from the top going down. So the tower, which is still in its preliminary stages, appears up-side-down in the image above to how it is actually placed on the canvas now.

I picked out all of the crayons at random, and initially glued together rows of 8 crayons. These rows were then stacked upon each other and rotated around so that the tips of the crayons faced different directions with each consecutive row. And as the tower increased in height, I started removing some of the crayons from the rows to start the progression of the tower from organization into chaos.
